Ten young women, members of a Bible Class at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church of Palmerston North. Agnes (‘Aggie’) Chapman, second daughter of local sheep and dairy farmer William is seated, front row, centre. For many years an employee in C. M. Ross & Co’s back office (see image 2007N_Pg71_GRO_1106) she was in later years elected an Elder of the Church.
