This image was not publishing in the Manawatu Evening Standard, taken on 13 July, 1963. "These Manawatu Swimmers, for three days a week, do callisthenics for winter training, but they had no trouble in cooling off on Saturday. They took the plunge into the municipal pool--temperature 46 degrees--following their training at the baths." Another image of the group was published on 15 July, 1963.
