Dear Madam,
It has been suggested that if a Stall were placed in The
Square, in front of the Bank of New Zealand, for one day of the
week, a considerable number of voluntary surrender coupons could
be collected.
My Committee have instructed me to ask if you would bring
this matter before your Organisation to enquire whether the Ladies
would be willing to operate the stall. It would be necessary to
draft a roster and this could be done on receipt of the replies.
The Organisations are asked to nominate a week-day suitable
for the collection.
Yours faithfully,
[Hetta Petersen?]
HON. SECRETARY WOMENS SECTION.
