This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 05 May 1961 "Besides displaying modern equipment at the Industrial Fair, the Army are also presenting for inspection some of the older types of uniforms and weapons. A staff-sergeant in modern uniform is shown adjusting the period clothing of a model. The Wanganui Museum loaned the many pieces, which include the muskets."
