This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 20 April 1961 "Cutting and shaping timber for a home appliance stall at the Industries Fair are Mr. V. Harriman and Mr. T. Jones (kneeling). The latter commented to the photographer that he had been reading the "Manawatu Standard" for 50 years."
