This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 31st December 1965 "Lynda Thompson (three) and Kathryn Thompson (five), of Vogel Street get more pleasure from playing with their neighbour's two dogs that they do from their dolls, said their father this morning. And the dogs? Well, they just love all the attention they receive."
