This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 20 January, 1964. "The oldest and second-youngest in the Rowland family which celebrated its centenary in New Zealand at the weekend meet here. He Mr Timothy Rowland, last surviving child of Mr David Rowland, who landed in New Zealand in 1864. The baby on his knee is Darren Johnstone, his year-old great-grandchild, and second youngest in the whole family."
