This image was not published in the Manawatu Evening Standard, taken on 20 January, 1964. [Mr David Rowland, of Worchestershire, England, arrived in New Zealand as an 1864 poineer. At the weekend, his descendants, 115 of them, were photographed as they celebrated their Dominion centenary in Longburn on Saturday. Mr and Mrs Timothy Rowland (last surviving son of David Rowland) are seen with the anniversary cake shaped like a book.] Another image of the couple was published on 20 January, 1964.
