Description

This building stood on the corner of Main Street east and The Square and was constructed in 1890 by Joseph Nathan and Co. Ltd (although The Ready Money Store had been on the same site since the 1870s). The Ready Money Store was closed in 1892, when the Manawatū Farmers Co-operative Association was formed and took over this building. For earlier incarnation of the store see: 2014N_Sq49_008579
