A 1926 Palmerston North fire engine with firemen aboard was part of the parade, seen here in Rangitikei Street. The 75th Jubilee celebrations were an eight day long series of events. On the afternoon of Wednesday, 19 March 1952, a parade around the Square entitled ‘Cavalcade of transport through the ages’ was conducted.
