The float of Perham Larsen (Man.) Ltd, who were sawmillers and timber merchants, in Rangitikei Street. Perham Larsen were situated at 352 Rangitikei Street and sold plywood doors, wall boards and concrete products. The 75th Jubilee celebrations were an eight day long series of events. On the afternoon of Wednesday, 19 March 1952, a parade around the square entitled ‘Cavalcade of transport through the ages’ was conducted.
