Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in the Manawatu Evening Standard on 29 July, 1963. "The Jaycees were busy in the city on Saturday with their annual sale and distribution of lime to householders. With many gardeners preparing their vegetable sections for planting and sowing the lime often proves extremely helpful. Seen preparing to deliver bags of lime are (from the left) Messrs D. Harrod, B. Gilchrist, J. Burke, and H. Harrod."
