This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 23 January, 1964. ""Good shooting, boys," could well be what Lieut.-Colonel W. C. T. Foley, R.N.Z.A.C., Director of Army Cadets, told these school cadets after a practice shoot with Bren guns at the Linton Camp yesterday. The cadets are from secondary schools in the Central Military District's area. Some will return home today and tomorrow. They have spent 10 days in camp. The boys with Colonel Foley are from the left: June Apanuie, from Te Aroroa, Tarzen Takarua, from Tiki Tiki, and Stephen Avery, of Wellington." See also: 2017N_2017-20_018350
