Workmen pumping trenches
- Description
Workmen laying the first sewer pipes, in Featherston Street, Palmerston North. The steam traction engines are pumping water from the trench. Samuel Jickell, also the photographer, was Borough Engineer for the Palmerston North Borough Council 1904-1919.
