Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 4 January, 1964. "There is nothing better than playing in boats, even if you do run the risk of getting your feet wet. These boys certainly had fun punting about on a pontoon at Centennial Lake. However, the "crew" found the going against the wind too hard and finished up berthed against the bank."
