Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 6 January, 1964. "The newly opened "chalet" on the lakeside in Centennial Drive provides a most attractive setting for those wishing to dine and enjoy one of the city's beauty spots. The photograph is taken from the interior of the chalet looking across the lake towards some of the houses set back from the banks of the lagoon."
