The warehouse held all parts for Toyota Cars and Commercial Vehicles available in New Zealand. The Vice President of Toyota Motor Sales in Japan, N Araki, officially opened the Toyota National Parts Distribution Centre, which consisted of 100,000 sq ft, after its completion in December 1977.
