Philip Fowler travelled to England to serve as a pilot in the Royal Naval Air Service during World War One.

This photograph album provides a unique look at his life while serving in Imbros in the Aegean Sea, in England on rest and recreation and travelling through the Panama Canal, before post war photos of Rotorua and 'Parorangi' (house) in Feilding.
