Description

Alexander Reginald George Radford (1890-1972) in his back garden at 5 Marne Street, Palmerston North, working on his home-built aeroplane. He worked on the aeroplane from 1929-1934, but, when it was almost completed, Radford suffered an accident. In 1940 he sold a share in the aircraft to Louis Findlay and it was completed and flown.
