Peke atu ki ngā rauemi

The war memorial was erected to the men who died in World War One and World War Two. Later, in December 1954 the park wasoffically opened and dedication as 'Memorial Park'. The memorial is no longer standing, it was removed in the early 1980s and the area resown in grass.
