This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 27 February, 1964. "I. Burt and Miss V. Toye, two Manawatu swimmers who won gold and silver medals at the New Zealand championships, at Blenheim, recently. Burt won the junior boys' 220 yards backstroke and Miss Toye the junior girls' 220 yards backstroke. Both gained second placings in the 110 yards backstroke."
