This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 12 July 1961 "Corporal F.C. Webb (left) and Sergeant W.J. Gray preparing the base for a sauce which was used later when the two cooked a tasty egg omelette for a "Manawatu Standard" reporter and photographer at a cooking demonstration given by a party of cooks from the Army at Linton in the City Council's gas department showroom yesterday."
