This image was published in the July 23rd 1978 edition of the Tribune weekly newspaper with the caption: “One plaster cast, complete with signature, coming up – Robert Orr signs his name on Brian Green’s cast.”
An extract from the article read: “They’re calling Robert Orr and Brian Green the walking wounded these days. But injuries or no injuries, the Palmerston North rally team will be up there for the third round of the Pall Mall rally series, to be held in the Tokoroa-Auckland area next weekend (July 29-30). In their last rallying event, Brian broke his arm when their car rolled over. Robert broke a finger in the same accident. And in the second stage of the Pall Mall rally, in the Palmerston North area, Robert got out of the car too quickly on a night trial and the car, still moving, ran over his foot. “I get reminded of that every step I take." he told the ‘Tribune' Before they get to round three of the Pall Mall rally, Brian has to get the plaster cast off his arm. and Robert has to stop limping. And they've got to get their back first - It was virtually demolished in their last event, (the Thermal Rally at Rotorua on July 2).”
