Description

Commonwealth Games silver medalist Michael McRedmond. He finished second to Australian Kenrick Tucker at the Brisbane Games. He was coached by Palmerston North coach Max Vertongen and fellow games cyclist Anthony Cuff. He was the national sprint champion for New Zealand 5 times. He went on to coach two Olympic medallists, Jesse Sergent and Simon Van Velthooven. In 2013, He competed at the Wanganui Masters Games in the mountain bike cross-country category, placing bronze in the Sport Grade bracket.
