Description

Palmerston North held its 75th Jubilee Celebrations during the week of 15th March 1952. Shown here is the Manawatu Joinery float showing their product at different stages of development - "From Mill to Factory to Home". The building that the float is moving past is the Soldier's Club on the corner of George Street and Cuba Street, still standing today [2016] though it now operates as a cafe.
