- Description
This photograph was taken on Empire Day in 1902. They are thought to be participating in a shooting competition. Identified are: George Stevenson of Shannon, 2nd from left back row; William Davey (son of Sam Davey, Kairanga farmer)), 3rd from left back row; William Shearman of Shannon, 6th from left back row; ? Nye (cousin of William Shearman), 3rd from left front row.
