This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 29 August, 1959. "The Palmerston North Jaycees assisted the A.W.I. Beneficiaries on Saturday when they cleared the section surrounding the A.W.I.'s house in Alfred Street. The photograph shows a Jaycee driving a tractor and scooping the earth before him."
