This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 6 February, 1964. "A brand new Massey Ferguson tractor was donated today by C. B. Norwood, Ltd. To the Massey University of Manawatu's Student Centre Appeal. ... It was decided that a tractor be donated to be raffled for the fund. ... Dr Andrews [Chancellor of the university] is seen, in the photograph, sitting on the seat of the tractor, Mr Norwood is standing on the drawbar behind." See newspaper for rest of the story.
