This image was taken (but not used) for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 26th January 1966 "B. Jones (Australia) leads two New Zealand drivers around the hair pin bend corner of the Manawatu Go-Kart's Club track at the Australia-Manawatu meeting on Saturday. The well-finished Australian go-karts, running on alcohol, led the way in the majority of the events."
