Description

The Square Edge was given its name after the present Civic Administration Building was completed in 1980. Square Edge Creative Centre has been the focus of artistic talent in Palmerston North for [over] 25 years. Housed in an eye-catching art deco building are artist studios, boutique shops, galleries and performance/rehearsal spaces. The Square Edge Gallery exhibits the work of up and coming local artists and craftspeople while the retail section on the Ground Floor is packed with shops and galleries selling locally made items including clothing, giftware and art.
