This photograph was taken at Mr Joseph Beale's "Mokia" property at Oakey, Queensland, Australia. "Mokia" was purchased about 1899 after Joseph Beale had left the Palmerston North District. He died at Oakey in 1906. Back Row, left to right: Bruce, Samuel, Mr Joseph Beale, Albert, Ernest and William. Front Row, left to right: Henry, Mrs Joseph Beale and Margaret.

The photograph was possible taken on the occasion of Margaret Beale's marriage to Leonard Greenaway, which took place at Oakey on 31 August 1904.
