Jack Gallichan was an author, diarist, statistician, editor and historian. He was connected with publishing for nearly 50 years. In 1930, he was a founding member of the United Cricket Club and was elected to the Manawatu Cricket Association in 1934. Jack, shown here with a volume of cricket statistics prepared for the Association, retired in 1981, after 30 years as an agent for the Manawatu Evening Standard. He died 22 October 1984.
