This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 14 June, 1963. "At a function held in the All Saints' Church hall on Wednesday night, R. Lambie was presented with her Queen's Guide badge and parchment. The first ever winner of the coveted badge in this company (All Saints' 1st Palmerston North Company), Miss Lambie received her presentation from the Divisional Commissioner (Mrs A. K. R. McDowell). In the photograph (middle row, from the left) are Miss I. White (lieutenant), Mrs. A. Stafford (captain), Mrs. J. W. Ward (Western District Commissioner), Miss Lambie (holding her parchment) and Mrs A. K. R. McDowell (divional commissioner) together with the All Saints' Company."
