This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 4th March, 1963. "These two 16 year-olds recently had the distinction of being the first Queen's Guide award winners in their company- the St. Andrew's Guides. They are Judy Barlow (left) and Rosemary Pratt, who underwent a three-month series of theoretical and practical tests after being recommended by their company and district. Judy's award was presented last week by the District Commissioner of Guides (Mrs Grace), and Rosemary's was presented on New Year's Day by the camp adviser for Palmerston North (Mrs P. Hopkirk)."
