This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 1st December 1965 "To complete a centralisation plan of the New Zealand Forest Service, an additional new building has been completed and is in the process of being occupied. The new building, adjacent to the fire control section in Tremaine Avenue, will house the radio and telecommunications workshops and service area, the service bay for the installation of radio and other equipment on vehicles and a large store."
