This truck owned by Munt, Cottrell & Co Ltd – Customs, Shipping & Forwarding Agents of Wellington, Licensed by H.M. Customs – is in the process of delivering a large wooden sided shipping container full of dairy machinery produced by W.D. Engineering Co Ltd, London, England, to a unknown dairy factory in the Palmerston North region. The machinery was a commercial bottle washer used in the days of milk bottle home delivery. The crate says that it is backed by Evan Cook of London. Evan Cook started as a second-hand furniture business in 1893 and now appears to be part of an international the Constantine group.
