Dr G C Petersen (c1900-1978) was a solicitor, local historian and author. He wrote and selected the previously unpublished paintings by George French Angas for the exhibited book, “Portraits of Maori'. Mr Kennedy (on the right) was the sales director of A H Reed, publishers of the book.
