A Company Marching - postcard from Bob Eastwood

Soldiers carrying rifles march along a rode, following behind a small boy who rides a white horse. This postcard was sent by Robert (Bob) Edward Allen Eastwood (1895-1973),who served with the 4th Battalion 3 NZ Rifle Brigade from May 1916 until July 1918, when he was discharged on medical grounds. The inscription reads: "This is A company leading. I received your letter today written by noble Sec and was pleased to hear from you. Did you get my telegram and what day did you get it. I have had my photo taken and will see the proofs tonight all being well. Don’t forget to bring the next of kin tickets as Fred is coming to see me off. Do you hear. In haste
