A photograph of a soldier in uniform wearing a gas mark. This postcard was sent by Robert (Bob) Edward Allen Eastwood (1895-1973),who served with the 4th Battalion 3 NZ Rifle Brigade from May 1916 until July 1918, when he was discharged on medical grounds. The inscription reads: "Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Bob (20977)."
