This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 21 October 1958: "Prior to the presentation of the first station badge at the R.N.Z.A.F. station at Ohakea this morning the Chief of the Air Staff (Air Vice Marshal M.E. Calder) inspected the ceremonial parade accompanied by Wing Commander D.F. St. George, D.F.C, A.F.C., the station commander."
