This photograph, taken from the old Clarendon Hotel, demonstrates the busyness of the traffic in Rangititkei Street, Palmerston North. The Imperial Hotel can be seen on the corner of Rangitikei and King Streets. Note the National Bank of New Zealand on the corner of Cuba and Rangitikei Streets is not built yet (built 1927).
