Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 12 February, 1964. "Many hours of work go into preparing a horse for a show. Here Andrew Sanders, aged 8 years, of Takapau, is seen plaiting the tail of his pony at the Dannevirke A. & P. Show today. Andrew has taken four first places and one second in the last five shows, for the best boy riding in his class."
