This photograph shows the portion of the Square that once housed the King Edward Coronation Monument. It is now a block of car parks. The monument is partially obscured by a tree, but the top of the statue can be seen in this photograph. it was moved to the area of the Square closest to Broadway Avenue, where it stands today [2014].
