William and Eliza (died 1931) Collingwood were early Wanganui settlers and the parents of William Harold Collingwood. William H. Collingwood was the Town Clerk from 1907-1917 and City Treasurer from 1910- 1917 for Palmerston North. The family came to New Zealand from England around 1880. This photograph was taken before this time when they were still in England.
