Description

This shot looks down Broadway Avenue towards The Square and Coleman Place. The Odeon Theatre stands approximately where the Harvey Norman store stands today [2017]. The Australasian Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd (T&G) building in Palmerston North was designed by A and K Henderson in the distinctive 'house' style developed by the firm and constructed in 1938.
