Mrs Jackie Williamson, of Cheltenham, was an artist who painted race horses in particular. After college she spent two years at Ilam School of Fine Arts at Canterbury University. She married Howard Williamson in 1954 and they had 6 children. Her paintings are displayed in collections in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Asia and North America, including works in oils, pastels, acrylic, as well as sketches and cartoons.
