Description

The first Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Show was held at the showgrounds in Pascal Street, Palmerston North, November 1886. S Abrahams , who signed the photograph, was a local businessman and served as a Palmerston North Borough Councillor, 1884-1887, 1896-1900, 1905-1907 and Mayor, 1887-1889.
