This photograph of The Square looks along the eastern side of The Square, from near the Church Street corner, past Main Street to Broadway. The building in the centre is the Post Office on the corner of Main Street. While this building still stands [2014], the clock tower was removed in 1942 after the Wairarapa earthquake.
