This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 2 May, 1959. "The casket is taken from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church after the service for the late Mr R. G. McKenzie, the headmaster of the Terrace End School. A guard of honour was formed by the members of the Marton Highland Pipe Band. The pall-bearers are, from left: Messrs G. M. Wallace (former secretary of the school committee), V. E. Frost (chairman), H. Schwass (long service committee member); right, Messrs G. W. O'Neill (staff member), G. Turner (acting-headmaster), and R. M. Martin (staff member)."
