This is the programme for the Forty-Fifth Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held at the Opera House, Concert Chamber, Baptist Church Hall and St Andrew's Hall between 4 May and 10 May 1968. The competition categories included speech and drama, dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people. In addition to listing the events and names of competitors, the programme features advertisements for local businesses.
